"As hectic as my life is, I love the challenge of bringing live art to the stage; be it music, theatre, or some other type of performance (such as the Haunted Hallways at PUMC). Stepping into the theatre is a relaxing and refreshing step out of the normal every day life. It is even more rewarding when I see sets that I helped build hit the stage and truely make the scene. I also love learning new things in the areas of sound and lighting as well as pushing my limits with set design."

Martin was raised Catholic and officially joined Prospect United Methodist Church in 2007.
