Kriss & Ed Vincent

Kriss and Ed met many years ago at Ohio University in the hills of southeastern Ohio. The band Ed was playing with needed a vocalist and Kriss got the job. They have been making music together ever since.
Both were raised in solid mid-west families. As a child Kriss showed no inhibition at standing up in front of a crowd and delivering a song with her voice. She was influenced by the pop and show tunes of the 60’s. Her voice has been compared to Janis Joplin and Bonnie Raitt. Ed picked up the guitar after watching the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. He has been influenced by the three-minute hit song and guitarists of every genre. He has been writing songs since he was in high school and is just as comfortable playing a James Taylor song on his acoustic, as he is playing a Dire Straits song on his Strat.
After college they moved to LA for a couple of years, playing professionally in a pop-rock band across the western states. In the 80’s they settled in the Philly area. They continued to play as a duo, trio, and in bands all over the tri-state area.
Today, Ed, along with Kriss, leads the music team at Gateway Community Church in Media, PA. They continue to play a variety of gigs, including coffee houses, parties, and clubs. They also team up with their friend Glen Waldeck in the “Herd Of Turtles” several times a year. Music has the power to lift spirits and put a smile on your face, it is with great joy, Kriss & Ed continue their journey.
